Maintenance Technician

Position Summary To be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment by observing mechanical devices in operation as well as listening for any problems. Essential Functions 3 to 6 years of industrial maintenance or similar environment performing comparable tasks as required for this position. PLC experience preferred, but not mandatory. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques. Monitoring for compliance. Build assemblies of company assets and install as needed. Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. Design, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment and tools. Install, maintain, repair, adjust, troubleshoot, and inspect equipment and tools. Review the need for and request tools, equipment and supplies necessary to perform duties. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in our climate-controlled facility. The plant floor is subject to vibration, equipment noise and cleaning solvents leading to a loud environment.
