TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department required, first-time travelers welcome License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - EPIC required - Previous charge RN & Level 2 trauma experience preferred Description: This position involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours during the night. The schedule includes two weekend shifts or four weekend days over a six-week period. Holidays may be required as needed. No call duties are expected. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department. ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required. CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred. EPIC experience is mandatory, with previous charge nurse and Level 2 trauma experience preferred. Additional required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Candidates should also be competent in procedures involving continuous IV sedation, CVA management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Knowledge of isolation precautions and management of dysrhythmias is also essential. Travelers may be floated to various campuses as needed. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam, with two attempts allowed. Candidates must fulfill all required training modules upon orientation.
