Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)
Must-Have: 2 years of experience. Emergency Department X-ray ability is a plus.
Description: This position involves working in radiology and performing general X-ray duties. The department has 2 X-ray rooms. Common types of imaging performed include fluoroscopy, surgery (operating room), emergency department X-ray, inpatient, and portable imaging. Average number of scans/studies performed daily is approximately 30. The facility uses McKesson and EPIC for electronic medical records and picture archiving communication systems. Department-specific equipment includes GE and Siemens machines. The supervisor or lead technologist oversees the department. Radiology assistants will not be utilized. Radiologists are not in-house. Starting IVs is not required in this position. Scrubs will be provided, and the color is basic. There is a one-week department-specific orientation taking place Monday through Friday during day shifts. General certification requirements include BLS and ARRT certification. The position requires a willingness to be on-call as needed. Cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of shifts as specified.
