Objective: The IS Manager is responsible for overseeing all information technology systems and infrastructure across the Sheehan Family Companies network. This role ensures that technology solutions, hardware, and software eff ectively support company operations, improve effi ciency, and align with business goals. The IS Manager provides hands-on technical leadership, manages IT staff , and collaborates with division leaders to maintain system integrity, security, and performance across all locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership
● Lead and manage all IT operations, including hardware, software, data, and security systems
● Develop and execute IT strategies that support business goals and operational efficiency
● Foster a solution-driven IT culture that prioritizes responsiveness, reliability, and innovation
● Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs, improvements, and investment opportunities
● Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery
Systems Management & Support
● Direct system applications and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with user needs and company objectives
● Maintain and oversee key systems such as VIP Beverage System, PC-based operating systems, LAN/WAN, Nexus, Roadnet, and AB Mobility
● Provide hands-on technical support, problem resolution, and troubleshooting for users at corporate and divisional levels
● Ensure compliance with software licensing, cybersecurity protocols, and data privacy standards
● Recommend system enhancements and upgrades to maintain data integrity, scalability, and security
Policy, Compliance & Risk Management
● Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard information and technology assets
● Ensure compliance with corporate policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices
● Oversee system backups, disaster recovery plans, and network security protocols
● Mitigate technology risks through proactive monitoring and regular audits
Budgeting & Resource Management
● Develop, manage, and monitor the IT department budget
● Negotiate contracts for shared IT services and ensure optimal allocation of resources
● Review technology expenditures across divisions to ensure alignment with company strategy
● Evaluate and recommend cost-saving measures and vendor consolidation opportunities
Team Leadership & Collaboration
● Hire, train, and mentor IT staff to build a collaborative, high-performing team
● Set team objectives, performance goals, and project deliverables aligned with company priorities
● Partner with internal departments and division leadership to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs
● Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability within IT and across departments
● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; master’s degree preferred
● 7-10 years of progressive IT management experience, preferably in a distribution, logistics, or multi-entity organization
● Strong understanding of enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols
● Experience managing ERP systems such as VIP Beverage System and related applications
● Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities
● Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset

Physical Demands & Work Environment
● This position is primarily a desk-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
● Regular use of standard office equipment including computer, phone, keyboard, and related technology
● Ability to lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 10 lbs as needed for office or event setup
● Occasional standing, bending, or reaching may be required
● Occasional travel may be required for training, team meetings, or company events
● Work is typically performed in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard lighting

Compensation Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is: $125,000 - $135,000 per year

Final compensation is based on experience, credentials, and geographic location.

Pay ranges are reviewed annually based on market data and internal equity.
