Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting to provide diagnostic imaging services in a hospital-based MRI department.

Job Details

• Hospital-based MRI department setting,
• Fri/Sat/Sun schedule, Day 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM,
• Works under limited direction of radiologist and general supervision of MRI/CT services manager,

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or approved MRI technical program,
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting,
• ARRT (MR) credential highly preferred, or ARMRIT certification with current registration required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Performs professional duties to obtain proper magnetic resonance images under radiologist direction,
• Provides patient care activities, not involving invasive biopsy procedures,
• Occasional internal and external contact to exchange work-related information, requiring professionalism and tact,
• Locals accepted at the same rate for most facilities, except this facility which enforces a 60-mile radius rule with no local candidates allowed,
• Comparable facility size experience required
