Legal Assistant

PrimeTalent’s client, a growth-oriented law firm expanding throughout Texas, is looking for a dedicated Presuit Legal Assistant to join their team supporting attorneys handling first‑party property damage insurance claims. This is an excellent remote opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment and wants to build a career in the legal field. What You’ll Do Support attorneys and paralegals with daily administrative tasks and case management. Communicate with clients via email and phone to gather information and maintain trusting relationships. Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and notices of deposition and mediation. Update and organize spreadsheets, databases, and case management software (Filevine used daily). Conduct research to support legal proceedings and investigate facts to assist in case resolution. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and track deadlines with precision. Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion. What We’re Looking For Strong administrative or legal support background (preferably in plaintiff or insurance law). Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite; experience with Filevine a plus. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in the roofing or construction industry is a strong advantage. Reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. Must pass a background check.
