Pharmacy Technician

Role Description This is a part time (Wednesday and Thursday) on-site Pharmacy Technician role at FLORA PHARMACY in Littleton, CO involves supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, accurate medication dispensing. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and assisting pharmacists with prescription verification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Pharmacy Technician will interact with customers in person and by phone, answer questions within scope of practice, and provide courteous, efficient service at the pharmacy counter. Additional duties include maintaining inventory levels, organizing stock, checking for expired medications, and helping keep the pharmacy workspace clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards. The role also requires accurate data entry, handling payment transactions, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to support smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Compensation: $20-24/hr Qualifications Candidates should possess strong prescription processing skills and an understanding of medication handling and safety. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of pharmacy operations and practices within community or retail pharmacy settings. Candidates should possess experience or training as pharmacy technicians, including familiarity with pharmacy software and documentation. Candidates should possess inventory control skills, including stock rotation, ordering, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should possess customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and sensitivity to patient needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred. Current pharmacy technician registration or licensure in Colorado, and national certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT) preferred or willingness to obtain. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
