Nolla is building AI-powered healthcare to make high-quality care accessible to everyone. Our medical skincare and prescription product, Nolla Derm, helps patients understand their skin and get treatment. We’re expanding into broader care, women’s health, and beyond. We’ve raised $6.5M from General Catalyst and other strategic investors.

We’re looking for a clinician who can make medical information clear, useful, and engaging—and become a recognizable face of Nolla.

The role

You’ll lead clinical content at Nolla: finding the questions patients actually care about, researching the answers, writing scripts, and bringing them to life on camera.

This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll regularly film videos, create graphics and educational content, and help manage our social presence. You’ll also work directly with the founding team on founder videos, product explainers, interviews, and other brand content.

Your initial focus will be medical skincare and prescriptions: conditions, ingredients, treatment expectations, common misconceptions, and how to navigate care. Over time, you’ll help us bring that same approach to other areas of health.

We have a full-time video editor to support production. You’ll own the ideas, preparation, filming, creative direction, and feedback that turn raw footage into compelling content.

We strongly prefer an NP or PA. We’re also open to RNs and other clinicians with strong clinical experience and an excellent content portfolio.

What you’ll do

Create clinical content

• Regularly appear on camera as a clinical face of Nolla, bringing warmth, credibility, and a natural conversational style.

• Research topics and write hooks, scripts, captions, and creative briefs.

• Develop recurring content series around patient questions, treatment journeys, and topics people misunderstand.

• Create educational graphics, carousels, and other visual content using tools such as Canva, Figma, and AI design tools.

• Turn complex clinical information into clear explanations that are accurate without feeling like a lecture.

Work with the founding team

• Develop content ideas with the founders and help bring their perspectives, product knowledge, and company story to life.

• Plan and direct shoots, helping people feel comfortable on camera and capture what the content needs.

• Give our editor clear briefs, organized footage, and actionable feedback.

• Review finished content for clinical accuracy, storytelling, and consistency with the brand.

Own the content workflow

• Help set the direction and calendar for Nolla’s social channels, especially Instagram and TikTok.

• Keep briefs, scripts, shoot schedules, assets, approvals, and publishing timelines organized.

• Coordinate with the founding, clinical, growth, and creative teams to move content from idea to publication.

• Use audience questions and performance data—including watch time, saves, shares, and patient interest—to improve what we create.

Bring clinical judgment to the brand

• Research and fact-check content, collaborating with our clinical team on medical review.

• Communicate treatment benefits, limitations, and expectations clearly and responsibly.

• Recognize when a topic needs specialist input or a patient question requires individual care.

• Bring insights from patient care into our content and product experience.

As the platform develops, there may also be opportunities to contribute to patient education and patient-facing care, depending on your interests, credentials, and licensure.

What you bring

• Clinical training and patient-care experience as an NP, PA, RN, or another qualified healthcare professional. NP or PA strongly preferred.

• Experience creating health or medical content, with examples of you speaking on camera.

• A background managing social media for a brand, practice, organization, or your own professional account.

• Strong writing skills and confidence developing briefs, scripts, and creative concepts.

• Comfort directing shoots, collaborating with founders, and giving creative feedback.

• The ability to create clear, polished graphics, with familiarity with Canva, Figma, and AI design tools.

• Strong organization and follow-through: you can manage several pieces of content and consistently get them published.

• Sound clinical judgment and a commitment to accurate, evidence-based communication.

• Availability to work full-time, in person in New York City.

Bonus points

• An established, engaged social media following, particularly around health, skincare, or wellness.

• Experience in dermatology, medical skincare, or prescription treatments.

• Experience in primary care, women’s health, or other areas relevant to Nolla’s expansion.

• Experience at a healthcare startup, consumer health brand, or telehealth platform.

• A track record of growing an audience and improving content performance.

Role logistics, compensation & benefits

• Role Type: Clinical Content / Marketing

• Base Salary: $110,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience

• Job Type: Full-time
