Role The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining practice standards, coordinating patient care activities among staff, and ensuring delivery of quality nursing services within organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred. Open to new graduates; hospital experience preferred. Current RN licensure in the state; BCLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy certification.
