Experience Area of specialization in either social justice or restorativejustice required. Applicants should be strongly committed toexcellence in teaching, student advising, and student mentoring.Preference with being given to candidates with evidence of teachingeffectiveness at the undergraduate level, evidence of academicscholarship, statistics/data analysis teaching experience andresearch ability/potential to publish in peer-reviewed academicjournals, securing external grants, and proof of building communitypartnerships. Candidates must be committed to working with diversepopulations and be conversant in multicultural issues. The idealcandidate will have the expertise and experience in CriticalCriminology pedagogy, Critical Race Theory, and experience inteaching Statistics and Data Analysis at the undergraduate leveland working collaboratively across disciplines. Education A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Sociology from anaccredited institution required. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Specialization area open with research interests and experiences inResearch Methods, Statistics, Criminology, Social Justice, andRestorative Justice. Ability to teach a majority of the core coursein our criminal justice curriculum.
