Diesel MechanicDiagnose and repair diesel engines and vehiclesPerform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehiclesUse diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issuesCommunicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance neededKeep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performedMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and guidelinesHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a diesel mechanic training program or apprenticeship preferred.ASE certification in diesel engine repair (e.g., Medium-Heavy Truck Certification - T-Series) is desirable.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and technical manuals.Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
