Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, including the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end close. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, supervises the accounting team, and partners with operations to support business performance.Essential ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.Supervise the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions.Lead, coach, and develop the accounting staff.Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.Oversee inventory accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing accounting.Monitor cash collections, vendor payments, and working capital performance.Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.Drive process improvements and ERP system enhancements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and special finance projects.Administer & manage Concur T&E platform and activityRecord and reconcile payroll journal entries and related accountsManage Census filingsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.2+ years of supervisory experience.Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Knowledge & SkillsStrong accounting, financial reporting, and analytical skills.Experience managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger activities.Leadership and team development abilities.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Continuous improvement mindset.Success in the RoleAccurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close.Effective management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash flow.Strong internal controls and audit readiness.Well-developed, high-performing accounting team.Continuous improvement of accounting processes and operational efficiency.
