Mechanical Team Leader

Position: Mechanical Team Leader Location: Denver, CO Job Id: 5808 # of Openings: 1 As part of the Buildings team for Garver, this Mechanical Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for building the practice in the greater Denver market. Specifically, this responsibility will include:Building and leading a multi-discipline engineering team that supports architectural clients.Developing regional architectural firms as Garver and Buildings Team clients.Providing engineering support for architectural clients particularly structural, mechanical, and electrical.Managing projects and providing discipline specific design.In addition, this role will include coordination with other internal teams across Garver’s regional footprint. Travel will be required depending on client and project location.Abilities and attributes needed for this position:Experience working directly for architectural clients and managing the engineering aspects of a building design project.Experience in client relations and project pursuits.Knowledge of building components and systems.Knowledge of engineering and sustainability principles.Utilizing CAD and BIM design software to produce construction drawings.Manage multiple assignments concurrently.Be responsible for time management and product quality.Keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting on all assigned projects.Develop and follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans.Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as the overall needs of the team.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical, focus from an ABET-accredited university of college.Registered Professional Engineer (PE)7 to 15 years of building design and construction industry experienceActively engaged with architectural clientsInterested in building a market specific engineering team that supports architectural clientsProven experience overseeing designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projectsTechnically competent in building system designsExperience with Autodesk RevitMust have strong communication skillsMust be proficient with MS Office SuiteProjected Compensation Range $100,000-$150,000Applications are anticipated to close on October 1, 2026, but may be extended based on business needs.Grow With UsGarver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
