Summary Under general supervision, this position performs general office work in a school. The duties involve varied office tasks, such as operating office equipment, following standard office procedures, and maintaining contacts with students, parents, and others. Duties include maintaining and reporting attendance, typing reports, answering phones, taking messages, photocopying and assembling materials, and maintaining files. The role requires prior office clerical experience and the ability to acquire word‑processing skills. Experienced workers use initiative and independent judgment to complete assigned tasks and activities. Physical demands may require sustained operation of keyboard devices.
