As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas of the location, observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity and relaying information through appropriate reporting channels.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with visitor directions, following post orders, and completing routine logs and reports related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
