Facilities Engineer / Specialist III

Airswift is looking for a Facilities Engineer/Specialist III to work for a major O&G company in the Midland, TX, for an initial 12-months assignment.
Position Overview
This Facilities Engineer / Specialist III opportunity is suited to an experienced engineering professional supporting existing operational assets in a brownfield environment. The Facilities Engineer / Specialist III will play a key role in production optimisation, facility performance, project delivery and risk reduction across ongoing operations. This Facilities Engineer / Specialist III position offers the chance to lead targeted engineering activities while working across fast-moving priorities and cross-functional teams. Role Context
This role sits within an existing asset and brownfield facilities environment, focused on operations support, surveillance and production improvement. The scope includes supporting existing facilities, leading small projects to completion, debottlenecking production volumes and helping close out safety and risk hazards through engineering actions.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide operations support and surveillance for existing assets within a brownfield facilities environment.
• Lead individual small projects through to completion.
• Identify and support opportunities for production debottlenecking and facility optimisation.
• Minimise downtime across existing assets and support improved operational performance.
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, hazard hunts and critical operating parameter reviews.
• Lead incident investigations related to downtime and process safety matters.
• Support opportunity management through identification of improvement initiatives and development of project scope.
• Lead performance testing, plant-based trials and development of operating guidelines for facilities.
• Coach and mentor junior and fellow colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Essential: Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.
• Essential: Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently, engage cross-functional teams and drive work to deadlines and business objectives.
• Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Essential: Strong English communication skills, including technical and business communication.
