Step into a meaningful role making a difference in students’ lives! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Physical Therapist who is passionate about supporting K-12 learners. Beginning August 2026 and running through June 2027, you’ll work full-time (32-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) in a dynamic educational environment, providing districtwide in-person services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and current Physical Therapist licensure
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations within a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skilled communicator comfortable engaging with students, staff, and families
- Proficient in assessing, planning, and delivering physical therapy interventions for a variety of student needs
- Reliable, flexible, and organized, with a commitment to fostering student independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students across grade levels in a districtwide capacity
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate progress records
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement treatment strategies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative support as appropriate
- Create a supportive and safe environment where all students can reach their highest potential
