Accounting Assistant

Tarvos Talent is partnered with a well-established, growing workforce solutions company to add an Accounting Assistant to their team in Austin, TX. Responsibilities Support the accounting team with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and AR/AP activities Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy Post cash receipts and reconcile customer payments and accounts Communicate with customers regarding payments and past-due accounts, helping strengthen client relationships Provide general accounting and finance support, including meeting participation and follow-up as needed Assist with additional accounting and payroll responsibilities as the company continues to grow Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting or Finance a plus) 1+ year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping-related role Experience with an accounting ERP system; NetSuite experience is a plus Solid understanding of basic accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Drive Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset Ability to work independently while adapting to changing priorities For immediate and confidential consideration, please call View phone number on click.appcast.io for more information.
