About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting in Private Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality fund accounting services. This role involves overseeing Net Asset Value calculations, financial statement preparation, and partner/shareholder allocation reviews, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, external standards, and regulatory requirements. The Vice President will also be a key liaison with clients, external parties, and internal teams, and will drive strategic initiatives, efficiency, and technology automation within the department. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in fund accounting or related roles, and a preference for 12 years. The role requires proven leadership experience, strong knowledge of private equity funds, partnership agreements, and regulatory compliance, as well as experience in managing audit processes and implementing efficiency initiatives. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in technology automation, and a background in procedural development within fund accounting are also essential. The Vice President will be expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, and to participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
