$60k - $70k

Baton Rouge, LA

Job Description

Job Description

Our company is looking for a driven manager to lead the development of two growing divisions: commercial countertops and window treatments. You'll build these areas from the ground up while leveraging our existing customer relationships, reputation, and commercial project pipeline throughout Louisiana.

What you'll get

  • $60,000 to $70,000 per year base salary, depending on experience, with commission opportunity as divisions become established.
  • Vehicle allowance.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance with 50% employer contribution.
  • 10 to 15 days PTO, 2 sick days, and 15 paid holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 3% company match.
  • Referral bonuses, gym access, loyalty bonuses, and annual Christmas bonuses.

What you'll do

  • Develop commercial countertop and window treatment divisions throughout Louisiana.
  • Establish relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, fabricators, installers, and general contractors.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents and perform quantity takeoffs.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and budgets and solicit material and subcontractor pricing.
  • Manage awarded projects from award through completion, coordinating submittals, selections, field measurements, purchasing, and installation.
  • Procure materials, maintain vendor relationships, and coordinate subcontractors and installers.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, quality, and profitability through closeout.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience with countertops, stone, window treatments, commercial interiors, flooring, or a related construction trade.
  • Ability to read commercial plans and specifications.
  • Experience with construction estimating and quantity takeoffs.
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout Louisiana.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with countertops or window treatments.

You'll report to the Owner/President and have significant ownership over how these divisions develop, backed by the resources and reputation of an established commercial contractor. This is an opportunity to build something.
