RN Critical Care

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Critical Care:

Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
Re-assesses patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
Develops and implements a measurable individualized plan of care for the patient.
Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes; modifies the plan of care as needed.
Participates in patient health education and discharge planning.
Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
Performs various Point of Care testing procedures.
Utilizes effective communication strategies for intended outcomes.
Delegates unit work assignments to ensure completion of required patient care support activities.
Coordinates team assignments, adjusts based on patient and unit needs, and follows up on delegated tasks.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Critical Care:

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification via AHA
ACLS Certification via AHA
TNCC Certification
