Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Thoracic Surgery - North Jersey Thoracic Surgical Associates

Job Description Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join North Jersey Thoracic Surgical Associates. This nationally ranked and expanding service line offers a collaborative practice environment with experienced thoracic surgeons and a high volume of cases. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and satellite outpatient offices. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments Order diagnostic tests Assist in surgical and post-operative care Develop and implement treatment plans Provide patient education Collaborate with the care team Maintain accurate electronic medical records The schedule for this position is a 4‑day work week, varying between Monday-Friday with rotational weekends required.
