Schedule/Hours

• 36 or 48 hour work weeks available
• Rotate every other weekend
• Holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact state (no temporary licenses)
• Current AHA BLS or Red Cross certification
• At least 2 years of RN experience (will consider 18 months if at the highest license level and 1 year recent specialty experience)
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to trauma, surgery, ortho, and urology patients with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork with physicians, specialists, and hospitalists
• Provide individualized care through assessment, planning, and coordination with families and other medical professionals
