MindfulPath Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position based in our Dallas, Texas location. Work Environment

This full-time role requires your presence onsite at an assisted living facility, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes licensed therapists, primary care providers, and case managers. The regular working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule while ensuring you can make a significant impact in each patient’s life during the day. You will have access to modern psychiatric care resources and tools, facilitating a collaborative approach to treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose patients' mental health conditions accurately, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Manage medication regimens for patients, closely monitoring treatment effectiveness and side effects to ensure optimal mental health outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative care with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to integrate physical and mental health strategies seamlessly.
• Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute emotional distress, utilizing evidence-based methods to support stabilization and recovery.
• Lead and contribute to community outreach efforts that promote mental health awareness and access to services.
• Deliver therapeutic support through individual and group counseling, focusing on psychoeducation and skills development to empower patients.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, facilitating continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our mission, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will cater to a diverse patient demographic, including those from various cultural backgrounds. You will work with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a psychiatric focus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with the care team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
