Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Gainesville, GA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with 1-hour lunch break, additional days and hours may be required Job Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when necessaryPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalent2 years or more experience as a phlebotomistPhlebotomy certification or completed training program Preferred Qualifications:5 years or more experience in as a people leaderAdditional Job StandardsIn lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. The Phlebotomy Site Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center.
