The ideal candidate enjoys being hands-on, digging into the details, and working closely with both accounting and operations.Overview of ResponsibilitiesOwn key areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedulesPrepare and analyze financial information and investigate variancesManage general ledger activity and maintain accurate accounting recordsPerform inventory and cost accounting activities in a manufacturing environmentReconcile inventory, COGS, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accountsSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management as neededAssist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management analysisPartner with operations to understand production, purchasing, inventory, and cost-related activityHelp identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reportingSupport year-end audit and tax activitiesAssist with special projects as the company continues to growPreferred Qualifications / What You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredStrong general accounting and month-end close experienceManufacturing, consumer products, food/beverage, or inventory accounting experience strongly preferredExperience with inventory, COGS, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reportingNetSuite experience requiredStrong Excel skills and comfort working with large amounts of financial dataComfortable working in a hands-on environment where priorities can shift as the business growsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with accounting, operations, and leadershipSomeone who enjoys understanding the why behind the numbers, not just processing transactions$90,000 – $95,000Please email your resume for immediate consideration.Tia McKeen, Senior Managing Director – Staffing
