Responsibilities
- Independently provide holistic, individualized OB nursing care using the nursing process for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
- Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills to patients and families; perform general and unit-specific clinical tasks as needed.
- Manage supplies and equipment; promote teamwork with physicians, unit staff, and other hospital departments to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Adhere to Standards of Nursing Practice; maintain confidentiality, honor advance directives, and respect patient rights under ADA guidelines.
- Maintain effective communication, both written and verbal, and utilize available computer systems for documentation and care coordination.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (current) required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification.
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patient populations.
- COVID-19 vaccination per state mandate; proficient computer skills for documentation and orders.
