Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Special Education Teacher Certification is required.
• Previous experience teaching middle school students is highly valued.
• Familiarity with emotional disabilities and self-contained classroom settings preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and team members.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans to support the unique needs of your students.
• Manage IEPs and contribute actively to meetings and progress updates.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other teachers for well-rounded support.
• Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.

This contract offers a highly competitive hourly rate of $40, paid weekly.
