Front of House Manager

Job Description

The Front of House Manager oversees daily operations of a busy restaurant, managing a team of 20+ employees across variable shifts to deliver excellent customer service. This role ensures smooth front-of-house functions, including staff supervision, cash handling, and vendor interactions, while promoting a positive team environment and operational efficiency. Opportunities for advancement include promotion to General Manager and cross-training in other departments.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of 20+ front-of-house staff
Deliver and uphold high standards of customer service
Oversee cash handling and financial transactions accurately
Conduct staff training and development programs
Schedule team members for variable shifts effectively
Maintain relationships with external vendors occasionally
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years in hospitality management
Servsafe Manager Certification
Customer service expertise
Staff scheduling proficiency
Inventory management experience
Cash handling skills
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
