Leasing Agent Full Time Denver, CO, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1076 Salary Range: $25.00 To $26.00 Annually Position Summary The Leasing Agent has full responsibility for site marketing and leasing, application processing, review and documentation, program compliance, wait list process, and unit-file maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight community features and benefits. Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, traffic, and follow-ups. Assist with marketing efforts, including online listings, social media, and community outreach. Ensure model units and common areas are clean and presentable. Support resident retention efforts and respond to service requests or concerns. Collaborate with the property management team to meet occupancy and revenue goals. Performs duties in compliance with all applicable fair housing, federal, state, and local statutes, and in compliance with all loan, grant, or program requirements Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of previous low-income housing property leasing Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi). Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed. Professional demeanor and a positive attitude. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times. Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Intermediate level experience in computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and community software applications. Essential Function: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Comfortable working in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as a computer, photocopier, and telephones. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office equipment, etc. Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions on a regular basis. Occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on the property’s and/or business needs. Must possess a positive attitude and professional demeanor with all staff, residents, and vendors.
