Pay Rate: $21/hr
Location: Providence, RI 02907 (Onsite)
Duration: Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (hours TBD)

Job Summary

This position supports warehouse and logistics operations within a production and distribution environment. The role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing kits and supplies to support operational and production needs. This is a fully onsite role requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement within storage areas
• Complete inventory transactions and updates within a warehouse management or tracking system
• Receive incoming shipments, verify packing slips, and inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage
• Load, unload, and distribute packages to appropriate departments or personnel
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient shipping and receiving areas
• Track and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials to appropriate personnel
• Conduct scheduled inventory and supply counts with accurate system updates
• Prepare kits and materials for work orders using established procedures and systems
• Assemble kits for specialized operational or controlled environment use as needed
• Support general warehouse operations including material handling and organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of material requests

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or material handling role
• Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency using computer systems for inventory or tracking purposes
• Ability to safely handle materials and perform manual tasks
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred:

• Forklift experience or certification
