About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical - Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Prior travel experience is required. Description: New position requested. Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training. Block scheduling can no longer be accommodated but requests for weekend-only shifts will be considered. The traveler must work at least one major holiday. Assignments may last up to 20 weeks to ensure adequate staffing during peak seasons. Submission must include work history and a skills checklist. Position entails working with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6. Assignments typically end on Saturdays, with a requirement of working 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit needs. Limited requested time off is accepted and must be included in the submission packet. Cancellations may occur up to 36 hours prior to an assignment due to patient census. Expect to work alongside students and new hires, contributing to a supportive work culture. Float requirement is not applicable for this position.
