Investor Relations, Wealth Channel Fundraising Lead | Top Multi Strat Quant Fund (New York)

Coda Search is partnering with a leading global quantitative investment management firm to find a Wealth Channel Lead for its Investor Relations team in New York. Our client takes a scientific approach to investing. It combines advanced technology, artificial intelligence, data science, and quantitative research with rigorous human judgment to find market opportunities and deliver alpha for its investors. Its engineers, researchers, and data scientists test hypotheses and build creative solutions to some of the most complex problems in finance.

The Opportunity

This is a high-visibility, client-facing role focused on the private bank, wealth management, and family office channels. You will work closely with Senior Relationship Managers and the Client Service team to build and deepen relationships with current and prospective investors and to keep the client experience coordinated. You will also help run and improve the firm’s client platform in support of the broader investment management business. The role suits a motivated, detail-oriented relationship professional who communicates well, enjoys working with sophisticated investors, and wants to represent a differentiated, research-driven investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships across private banking and wealth management networks. Deepen existing connections, originate new opportunities, and guide clients through diligence and onboarding.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s investment philosophy, strategies, and product offerings, and position the firm as a differentiated investment manager.
• Anticipate clients’ complex financial needs and recommend solutions across a range of products, based on thorough client profiling.
• Provide consistent, high-touch engagement. This includes in-person meetings at client locations, regular communication, and access to firm content and resources.
• Proactively source, win, and expand high-value relationships by making the most of sales and service opportunities.
• Manage client follow-up and comply with all regulatory and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: institutional asset management, hedge fund, investment consulting, wealth management
• Experience covering UHNW, private bank, and/or family office channels is strongly preferred.
• BA/BS degree with a strong academic record.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including comfort with complex investment products and portfolio construction concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to sophisticated investors.
• Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail.
• A self-starter who can solve problems independently, with appropriate oversight.
• Knowledge of hedge funds, systematic strategies, and tax-aware investing is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the US for client meetings, prospect visits, and industry events.
