Job Title : Porter

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Pay rate : $20/hr

Employment Type: Temporary / Part-time, 30 hours per week.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Schedule: M-F 6 hours per day | 8 am to 2 pm (flexible schedule)

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

• Keep common areas tidy and presentable throughout the day.
• Regularly monitor and replenish snack supplies in designated areas.
• Wash, dry, and put away dishes as needed to maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of coffee machines, including brewing coffee as needed.
• Prepare meeting rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist in setting up training materials and equipment and ensure timely teardown post-training sessions.
• Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and pantry items and communicate needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Regularly check and replenish first aid kits and maintain cleanliness in restrooms by ensuring adequate stocking of supplies, including toiletries and paper products.
• Assist in setting up lunch areas for employee meals or events and removing decorations after events or holidays as needed.
• Clean and polish glass doors and windows to ensure a clear appearance, as well as regularly disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs and handles.
• Regularly dust and clean office furniture and wipe down and sanitize desktops and tabletops to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Frequently clean and organize office refrigerators, disposing of expired or spoiled items.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager for timely resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 1+ years of experience in a janitorial, maintenance, or similar role.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with common cleaning supplies.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the office.
• Ability to alternate between sitting and standing, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds at times.
