About This Opportunity This temporary RN opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a dynamic acute care environment while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care settings. What You'll Do Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Collaborate with physicians, care team members, patients, and families to coordinate care. Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in patient status. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately. Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). Promote a culture of safety and quality while participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Support professional nursing practice through shared governance and partnership with interdisciplinary teams. Float to other units or departments as needed to support patient care demands. What You'll Bring Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in North Carolina Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency with electronic health records and technology used in patient care Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Prior acute care nursing experience Additional specialty certifications relevant to practice area This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
