CNC Machine Operator
Lingo Staffing is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a Manufacturer in Salem, VA. Shift: 1st Shift, hours may vary depending on needs *May require overtime*. Type: Temp to Perm. Pay: $22-$25/hour depending on experience. Location: Salem, VA 24153. Industry: Skilled Trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various CNC machines across multiple material types including Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Nickel alloys, Graphite, Titanium, Zirconium, Tantalum.
- Utilize problem solving tools to address non-conformities and improve productivity.
- Communicate with supervisors and engineering to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement various tools and fixtures as required to support CNC machining of parts and materials.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure products meet Mersen and/or customer quality standard.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 45lbs.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read and interpret detail drawings.
- CNC manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work overtime as required including nights and/or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Machinist certification or completion of related courses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- CNC Machine Operation experience.
