Lingo Staffing is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a manufacturer in Salem, VA. Shift: 1st Shift, hours may vary depending on needs *May require overtime*. Type: Temp to Perm. Pay: $22-$25/hour depending on experience. Location: Salem, VA 24153. Industry: Skilled Trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various CNC machines across multiple material types including carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, graphite, titanium, zirconium, tantalum.
• Utilize problem solving tools to address non-conformities and improve productivity.
• Communicate with supervisors and engineering to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement various tools and fixtures as required to support CNC machining of parts and materials.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure products meet Mersen and/or customer quality standard.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 45lbs.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret detail drawings.
• CNC manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime as required including nights and/or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Machinist certification or completion of related courses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• CNC Machine Operation experience.
