Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure smooth service flow. Assist in cleaning and organizing the dining area, including chairs, floors, and windows. Restock supplies and maintain condiments for guest use. Support servers and kitchen staff as needed to create a seamless dining experience. Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, responding to their needs promptly. Qualifications Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written). Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift) Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40–50 lbs (e.g., trays, dish racks, furniture) Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting Manual dexterity to handle dishes, glassware, and cleaning tools safely Ability to work in a hot, wet, and noisy environment (kitchen and dining areas) Ability to navigate crowded spaces while carrying items safely Visual and auditory ability to identify spills, hazards, and guest needs Who We Are Velocity Bar + Kitchen is an elevated, craft-driven neighborhood restaurant where fresh, made-from-scratch food and warm hospitality come together.
