Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to provide accounting support on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have strong general accounting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily general accounting activities and maintain accurate financial recordsPrepare and post journal entriesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsPerform bank, credit card, and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end closeReview and maintain general ledger accountsPrepare financial reports and accounting schedulesResearch and resolve account discrepanciesAssist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet activitiesSupport audit requests and provide documentation as neededMaintain organized accounting files and supporting documentationAssist with special accounting projects as assigned
