X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking experienced X-Ray Technologists for urgent day and overnight assignments. The ideal candidates will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, adhering to radiation protection standards, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. These are quick-start opportunities, and candidates must have no Requested Time Off (RTO) during the assignment. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies. Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT (R) certification . Active state Radiologic Technologist license, if required. Current BLS certification . Recent hospital-based X-ray experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently during the assigned shift.
