Albee Baby, located on the Upper West Side, has proudly served local families since 1933, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our in-store team. We’re seeking Cashier / Sales Floor Associates who enjoy working with customers, keeping things organized, and creating a welcoming retail experience. This role is ideal for someone who feels comfortable at the register, enjoys assisting customers on the sales floor, and thrives in a busy store environment. Position Details Role: Cashier / Sales Floor Associate Pay: $17–$19 per hour Schedule: Part-time Required Availability: Candidates must be available to work: Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and returns Greet customers and assist with questions while maintaining a friendly, welcoming presence Support customers on the sales floor by helping locate items and answering basic product questions Assist sales associates as needed during busy periods Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor Help with inventory tasks, including receiving, pricing, and restocking merchandise Stay engaged and productive during slower periods Uphold Albee Baby’s commitment to excellent customer service Qualifications Prior cashier or retail customer service experience preferred Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn product basics (training provided) Self-motivated with a positive attitude Ability to lift 25–35 lbs occasionally Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please forward your resume to us.
