HR GENERALIST

Position Overview Human Resources Generalist at Lava Heights Academy in Toquerville, Utah. Lava Heights Academy is a residential treatment program that provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for vulnerable young women referred from juvenile courts and social service agencies locally and across the country. The youth enter the program with a history of abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness and violence. They graduate from Falcon Ridge Ranch as educated young women who have overcome challenges and have demonstrated making healthy choices for themselves and for their future. Pay $52,000 per year, depending on experience. What You Will Do The Human Resources Generalist administers human resources plans and procedures for all site personnel across three campuses in Toquerville, Virgin, and Brigham City, Utah. Duties include developing and implementing personnel policies, conducting recruiting efforts, participating in job fairs, managing applicant screening, and coordinating onboarding activities. The role also oversees performance evaluation systems, manages timesheet submissions, addresses pay inquiries, maintains employee files, and assists with training management. Qualifications At least 21 years of age Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business or related field (Master’s Degree and/or Professional HR Certification preferred) At least 2 years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations, training and recruiting Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, HR policies and practices, and state licensing requirements Successful management experience Good interpersonal skills and ability to interview potential employees Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record for the past three years (qualified ROP driver) Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, TB test and child abuse registry check Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
