Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date 10/05/2026 for 18 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,988 per week to $2,098 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 rotating (day/night). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a medical-surgical patient population. End date expected in February/March 2027 per contract requirements.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adjust based on response
- Administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects; document assessments and interventions accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families to support self-care after discharge and facilitate understanding of treatment plans
- Maintain a healing environment with emphasis on safety, infection prevention, and quality of care

Requirements
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI accepted)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical RN experience
- Ability to care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Availability to work a 3x12 rotating schedule with on-call shifts required (2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks)
