This position is on-site in West Palm Beach, FL Position Summary Ambrosia Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Credentialing & Contracting Specialist to oversee all aspects of provider and facility credentialing, payer enrollment, and managed care contracting. This is a strategic role for someone who understands the business side of behavioral healthcare and is passionate about improving reimbursement, strengthening payer relationships, and supporting the financial success of the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in navigating commercial insurance contracting and credentialing processes. What You\'ll Do Provider Credentialing Manage initial credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment for physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other licensed providers. Ensure providers maintain uninterrupted participation with contracted insurance plans. Maintain and monitor CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, state licenses, DEA registrations, malpractice insurance, board certifications, and all required credentialing documentation. Track renewals and maintain an organized credentialing database. Facility Credentialing Coordinate facility enrollments, credentialing, and recredentialing with commercial insurance payers. Manage all payer enrollment applications and updates. Maintain active participation with contracted health plans. Support credentialing efforts for new facilities, service lines, and market expansion. Managed Care Contracting Lead contract negotiations with commercial insurance companies. Renegotiate existing agreements to improve reimbursement rates and contract terms. Analyze reimbursement methodologies and benchmark contracted rates against market standards. Review contract language, fee schedules, authorization requirements, carve-outs, and payment policies. Identify opportunities to improve reimbursement, reduce denials, and strengthen cash flow. Partner closely with the Revenue Cycle Director, CFO, Admissions, Utilization Review, Billing, and Collections teams to resolve: Credentialing and enrollment issues Underpayments Claims impacted by credentialing delays Payer Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for: Commercial insurance payers Provider representatives Contract managers Build and maintain strong payer relationships that support faster issue resolution, successful negotiations, and long-term contracting opportunities. What We\'re Looking For Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and/or managed care contracting Experience within behavioral health, healthcare, hospital, or physician practice settings preferred Strong understanding of commercial insurance credentialing and contracting processes Experience negotiating managed care contracts is highly preferred Knowledge of CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and provider enrollment requirements Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Danesh Alam MD, DFAPA, DFASAM ( Medical Reviewer ) Dr. Alam is an internationally renowned psychiatrist with academic affiliations with Northwestern University and University of Illinois, Chicago where he completed his residency training. Dr. Alam is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
