RN - Rehab

Origin Travel Nurses

VIBRA TRAVELS We are seeking a Case Manager to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. Dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience in a healthcare setting are encouraged to apply. This role involves assisting in life-changing procedures while traveling the country. Position Summary Coordinate clinically complex patient’s care across a continuum; ensure and facilitate quality clinical and cost outcomes, negotiate, procure, and coordinate appropriate services and resources needed by patients, and intervene to address and resolve issues at key points within the assigned facility. Ensure appropriate sequencing of treatment goals and implement comprehensive discharge plans. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide case management services to patients experiencing rehabilitation needs. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Social Worker in the state of employment. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor. Current, valid, and active driver's license. Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation. Additional Qualifications/Skills One (1) year of case management experience preferred; previous Critical Care experience preferred. CCM or ACM certification preferred. Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice. Assertive and personable with ability to balance complex challenge of delivering quality, cost-appropriate, service-oriented outcomes. Comprehensive knowledge of case management principles, concepts, and applicable standards of voluntary and regulatory agencies. Proficient in collecting and retrieving material from medical records. Knowledgeable in utilization review, medical terminology, appropriate levels of care, treatment modalities, statutes, and healthcare delivery models. Outstanding written and oral communication skills; practiced with all internal and external business relationships. Highly refined interpersonal relationship abilities with negotiation and problem solving skills at a very high level. Strong clinical assessment and process skills. Critical thinking skills demonstrated in all situations. Professional image projection. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. No pay cuts mid-contract. Referral bonus (up to $1,000 per referral). License reimbursement if traveling to a new state where new license is required.
