Must-Have: Adult Acute Care experience, CT Simulation, Custom Molds, Custom Shield, MRI, PET Scan, Tumor Localization, Beam Modifying/Positioning, CBCT/kV/mV Imaging, Wedges, Calculate Dose of Radiation, Pinnacle (Philips) experience, Eclipse (Varian) experience, External Beam Therapy experience, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy experience, ARIA experience, Varian 21 ex/ix experience, Isolation Precautions experience, Radiation Safety experience, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams experience

Description: This position requires immediate availability in the clinic with no orientation needed. The traveler will float between two clinical sites based on volume and coverage needs. The primary site has multiple linear accelerators and a CT simulator. The sister site is a short drive away and has additional equipment. The traveler will not be expected to cut blocks, perform CT simulations alone, or perform dose calculations. Medical staff will be available on-site throughout the day. Shifts may vary, with opportunities for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. There are no weekend shifts or call requirements. Travelers are expected to work during potential emergency situations and mass casualty events. The role involves teamwork and collaboration with other therapists. Travelers must be comfortable floating to other units as needed. Working more than five consecutive days or exceeding 60 hours in a week is not permitted. Certifications must be current and in hand at the time of start.
