Title
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

Schedule
- Shifts: 5x8s, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (occasionally 09:00 - 18:00)
- Optional 4x10s: staggered shifts (e.g., 07:00 - 17:30 or 08:00 - 18:30 with 30-min lunch)

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
- Licensure: NC or Compact license required in hand at start
- Certifications: ARRT (T), BLS
- EMR: ARIA
- Key clinical skills: Varian linac experience, CT simulation support, external beam therapy, IMRT

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a radiation oncology setting.
- Utilize and operate radiation therapy equipment.
- Assist in performing treatment planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Monitor patient responses and support them throughout their treatment process.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- RTO: Auto-approve up to 7 days RTO (not on holidays). No RTO during the first week. Candidate must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
- Fatigue policy: Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
- Scrubs: Royal blue; scrubs not provided.
