This role focuses on customer retention, revenue growth, service optimization, and acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a portfolio of national and strategic customer accountsServe as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring strong client relationshipsIdentify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling 3PL services, including warehousing, transportation, and value-added servicesCollaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to deliver customized logistics solutionsMonitor account performance, KPIs, and service-level agreements (SLAs)Conduct regular business reviews with customers to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunitiesResolve customer issues and escalate internally as needed to ensure timely resolutionSupport contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussionsMaintain accurate account records, forecasts, and activity updates in CRM systemsStay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offeringsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a National Account Manager, Account Manager, or similar role within a 3PL or logistics environmentProven experience managing large or multi-location customer accountsStrong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing and transportationExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to analyze data and translate insights into actionable solutionsStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to travel as needed to support customer relationshipsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related fieldExperience working with national retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing customersFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)Core CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindsetStrategic account managementCross-functional collaborationTime management and organizationResults-driven and goal-orientedCompensation$50K + Commission potentialMedical Insurance with premiums paid at 100% for employees AND dependentDental Insurance 100% paid for EmployeeVision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionsLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term Disability401(k) PlanProfit Sharing: Typical annual contribution of 15% of total eligible compensationPaid Holidays AND PTOCancer, Critical Illness, and Accident Policies availablePhysical Requirements:Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications, primarily on the telephone and email.
