Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving a high-volume acute care facility
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the night shift in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Support a facility that treats a large annual patient population, including a high-volume emergency department
• Adhere to all Joint Commission accreditation standards and facility-specific protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in West Virginia or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Client reserves the right to require additional certifications beyond those listed
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Rapid Response protocols
• Experience in a Joint Commission–accredited facility
