Purchasing Clerk

Responsible for entering and updating accurate information into the database. Process daily low stock and short-buy reports, product number changes into the DDMS database. Purchase IT supplies, machines, janitorial products, furniture, and other products as needed. Assisting sales representatives and other internal employees as needed.Primary Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesADMINISTRATIVE:Create paperwork for products to be pulled from warehouse for daily reports, and replenish inventory.Order internal products for all locationsPO Acknowledgements and follow UpApprove and process paperwork for central warehouse returnsComplete and distribute inventory revision forms and make necessary adjustments in the computerResearch and add alternates to items that have been discontinuedFollow up and price checking on PO’sMaintain IT database, enter new #’s descriptions accuratelyWork closely with sales representatives and other internal employees as neededCOMPUTER:Enter new products and/or direct vendor informationUtilize Master Inventory change form to update inventory recordsEnter contract pricing in vendor contract screenEnter specifier in lead field for shelf tag requestsProcess product number changesWork on all acknowledgements, furniture, janitorial, and office productsMISCELLANEOUS:Imprinting assistance and filingAdjust bin locations/min/max as neededTransfer inventoryPurchase specialty itemsAssist with Wholesale purchasesOTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED1 Year General Office Experience PreferredPurchasing Experience Helpful - Will TrainOtherComputer SkillsMath Calculation SkillsGood Verbal and Written Communication SkillsFollow Through SkillsAccuracy SkillsKeyboard Skills (25 wpm)Analytical Skills90% of Time at Computer/DeskPrioritizing SkillsOrganizational Skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Eakes-Office-Solutions
