Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Bachelor‘s Degree required.
• KSBHA required.
• No first time travelers.

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday.
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Candidate may work 10-hour days if noted at time of submission.
• Rotation for late joint cases required; last joint is seen at 5:00 PM and shift may extend until 6:30 PM.
• No call.
• No weekends.

Location Highlights

Topeka offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional cultural attractions in northeast Kansas. Lake Shawnee features boating, fishing, and walking trails, and Gage Park includes the Topeka Zoo and the Kansas Children‘s Discovery Center within the city. Clinton State Park is about 30 miles away near Lawrence, and downtown Topeka includes the Kansas State Capitol and the Evel Knievel Museum. The city also offers access to Interstate 70 for regional travel, and Kansas City is roughly 65 miles east for additional dining, entertainment, and airport access.
